Founded back in 2019 by a group of multidisciplinary partners with over 25 years of experience in internationally renowned productions, the French animation company produces original creations and offers its creative services from the editorial design stage to produce engaging and innovative stories.

The Digital Lab

Our editorial, technical and artistic teams work together within our Digital Lab to stay close to your needs, help you with every step of the creative process and propose the most engaging and impactful storytelling for your audiences.

As a contributor of prestigious research centers, we experiment in the field the most recent technological advances in 3D animation and Artificial Intelligence (AI).

A player in the real-time animation and virtual production community, we believe in open-source collaborative work ​(collaboration with IRISA/INRIA on the European project INVICTUS).

As a hatchery of new talentDada! Animation has a commitment with a number of education institutes (YNOV, ECV, ISART Digital, Georges Méliès Institute, Les Gobelins, Supinfocom, Annecy Festival), as well as offering block-release internships, participating in scientific advisory boards, national committees (CPNEF A/V) and round-table events.

This continuous innovation enabled us to obtain the status of Young Innovative Company in 2024.

Quentin Auger

Trained as an Industrial Design Engineer at UTC, Quentin graduated in CGI animation from the famous Les Gobelins school in 1999. Quentin has worked on animation and VFX pipelines in numerous studios accross Europe and the United States (ILM/LucasFilms, Sparx, Duran, BFC… ). After spending 8 years as CTO at Studio 100 Animation, he cofounded Dada! Animation as Head of innovation and R&D. His expertise and main areas of focus now lie in real-time technologies, XR, cloud-based workflows, and artificial intelligence, applied to both 2D and 3D animation.

Quentin is also a member and facilitator of the Creative Machines? working group, which brings together more than 1,000 members from schools, companies, and research labs. The group explores the impact of generative AI on animation, visual effects, and video games, with a particular focus on the scientific, legal, and ethical challenges reshaping our industries.

As an early explorer of these emerging technologies, Quentin regularly speaks at major industry events, including CNC, MIFA, RADI-RAF, PIDS Enghien, NewImages Festival, CPH:DOX, the Bangkok International Digital Content Festival (BIDC), and the French Academy of Sciences.

Emmanuelle Chabord

Emmanuelle spent the last 10 years at Studio 100 Animation, first as CFO and then as COO, to oversee both production and support functions. She has 25 years of global experience in 2D and 3D animation business behind her through previous careers at Chaman Productions and Xilam Animation. She graduated from Audencia Business School in 1998 (accounting/cost control) and has the first degree in chartered accountancy (DECF).

Editorial Director, Scriptwriter

Sophie Decroisette

As a graduate in Film studies from the Sorbonne, and from Les Gobelins animation school, Sophie has worked for 30 years as a writer for television, film, and children’s literature. She has created concepts (Nanook’s Great Hunt, Pif & Hercule Go Green, Captain Tone-Up, Club Klorofil…) and written scripts for more than 40 animated series (Cédric, Martin Morning, Arsene Lupin, Highlander, Fantômette, Oum the Dolphin, Les Sisters, K3…). She also served as head writer, supervising teams on numerous productions (Code Lyoko, Heidi, Maya The Bee, Les Hoofs de TFou…) and took part in the story development workshop of TF1’s daily series Tomorrow Is Ours.

She has written several animated feature films (Vic the Viking, Heidi, Romeo & Juliet, as well as award-winning live-action short films.

She has also worked periodically as a trainer, serves as an expert for funding and selection committes (CNC), sits on juries and regularly contributes to professional panels and conferences, notably at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival.

Fabrice Delapierre

Fabrice is an animation old-timer: he started in the animation industry in 1990 at Ex Machina. Then, as a free-lance he was involved in many projects for TV series, animation and vfx feature films in various major studios (Duran Duboi, Fantôme, Mac Guff, Mikros Animation, Passion Pictures, Sparx), holding different positions from animation supervisor to CG supervisor.

Software Architect

Jonathan Giroux

Jonathan Giroux is a software architecture engineer specialised in processes and QA development. He has worked in digital arts mainly with real-time technologies, notably for Ubisoft and Studio 100 Animation. He also co-founded the Cookie Collective, a French Real Time digital artist and coder collective.

Producer, Director

Jérôme Mouscadet

Graduated from the famous Parisian applied art school Les Arts Décoratifs, Jérôme has directed numerous animated projects for over 20 years. Broadcast all over the world, his works include awarded series such as Code Lyokô, Lou!, Sherlock Yack, Maya the Bee season 2 or Heidi. Besides, he worked as Art Director for Studio 100 Animation. He has collaborated with the CNC (French film council) for 10 years, and is co-president of AGrAF, a major association of French authors in animation.
